PRINCIPLES OF STRATEGIC PLANNING
Strategic Planning is a process of working through a set of key principles in order to determine new direction and specific plans on how to achieve that direction.  This process assists in decision making on both the macro and micro scale in an organization.

By introducing various layers of examination, the Strategic Planning Excellence process encourages analysis of the organizations past performance, current values and state of affairs, as well as future opportunities. Strategic Planning empowers a group to examine the wider environment in which it finds itself.
